Summary

S.A.F.E. Centers (Solvents/Automotive/Flammables/Electronics) are permanent collection facilities that are open every weekend for City of Los Angeles residents and LA County residents to safely dispose of their household hazardous waste (HHW) and electronic waste (e-waste). 

Visit our service page for a list of accepted items at the S.A.F.E. Centers. This service is provided free of charge to residents. 

Small businesses can dispose of their hazardous waste through the Very Small Quantity Generator (VSQG) Program for a fee.

Please note that S.A.F.E. Centers may close or experience modified hours during inclement weather.

Fridays, Saturdays & 1st Sundays of the month 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
 

HHW Transportation Limit: Accepting a maximum of 125 lbs or 15 gallons per visit
