Summary

S.A.F.E. Centers (Solvents/Automotive/Flammables/Electronics) are permanent collection facilities that are open every weekend for City of Los Angeles residents and LA County residents to safely dispose of their household hazardous waste (HHW) and electronic waste (e-waste).

Small businesses can dispose of their hazardous waste through the Very Small Quantity Generator (VSQG) Program for a fee.

Please note that S.A.F.E. Centers may close or experience modified hours during inclement weather.

Collection Times and Limits

9:00am - 3:00pm Fridays, Saturdays & 1st Sundays of the month

This specific S.A.F.E. Center does not accept business waste, but others do. Businesses must make an appointment by calling 310-387-1071 or emailing 4HCESQG@cleanharbors.com.

HHW Transportation Limit: Accepting a maximum of 125 lbs or 15 gallons per visit.
