recycLA Holiday Collection Delays

Most holidays do not change your collection day. For most of the year, you should put your bins out on your regularly-scheduled collection day(s). 

However, for five major holidays in 2026, recycLA crews take a break. If your collection day falls on or after the following holidays in 2026, your collection services will be delayed by one day. Saturday collection will not be delayed.

• New Year's Day (Thursday, January 1, 2026)
• Independence Day (Saturday, July 4, 2026)
• Labor Day (Monday, September 7, 2026)
• Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 26, 2026)
• Christmas Day (Friday, December 25, 2026)

If your collection is missed and it's not a holiday week OR if you need to make alternate arrangements, please call LASAN's 24-hour Customer Care Center at 1-800-773-2489 for assistance.
