Who is this for?
If you planning an information fair, environmental festival, or neighborhood block party in your community, we offer free City of Los Angeles Stormwater Program outreach materials, tailored to your guests, to distribute. Our Booth in a Box program is a simple way to have vital environmental information available to residents attending your event.
How It Works
We work with event organizers to develop a tailor-made variety of outreach materials ranging from tip cards to pens, from children’s activity books to posters, to be distributed at community events. We even throw in a tablecloth, literature holders and signage to give the booth a professional look! In return for free outreach materials, the event organizer identifies a volunteer to sit at the table and distribute the outreach materials. It’s a win-win! You get important environmental information for your event and we get our outreach materials out to the public – all at no cost to the City of Los Angeles or event organizers.
How to Request a Booth in a Box
- Use this link for our easy online form or e-mail us at LAStormwater@LACity.org to request outreach materials. In your e-mail, please type “Booth In A Box” in the subject line and include the following information:
- your name and phone number
- the name and date of your event
- the anticipated number of event attendees
- Make sure you have identified a volunteer who will sit at the table to distribute our outreach materials.
- A Watershed Protection representative will contact you to review your event details and the materials that will be included in your Booth In A Box.
