Tour the Environmental Learning Center at Hyperion

• Tours are free for all schools and residents in the City of Los Angeles.
• We welcome school field trips (grades 4-12) and community groups of 10 or more.
• All visitors must be at least 9 years old to enter the facility grounds.
• Tours last approximately 90 minutes and include time in the exhibits and classrooms.
• Appointments are required and should be made at least 3-4 weeks in advance.

Our team will help you coordinate all the details of your visit, offering an add-on tour of Hyperion Water Reclamation Plant as well as a complimentary meeting room and catering suggestions for your group lunch.

Whether you are a science teacher or a curious neighbor, we love showing you how we keep our coastline and neighborhoods clean.

Because we are located on the grounds of an active water reclamation plant, safety is our top priority.

• Wear Closed-Toe Shoes: This is required! No sandals, flip-flops, or high heels are allowed on the tour.
• Bring Photo ID: All adults (18+) must show a valid government-issued photo ID at the security gate to enter.
• Stay with Your Guide: For your safety, all visitors must stay with their assigned guide at all times.
