New Annual Rate Adjustment for 2026

Effective January 1, 2026 there will be a 5.00 % rate increase in accordance with the recycLA contract.

Holiday Collections Information

If your collection day falls on or after the following holidays in 2025, your collection services will be delayed by one day. Saturday collection will not be delayed.

New Year's Day (Thursday, January 1, 2026)

Independence Day (Saturday, July 4, 2026)

Labor Day (Monday, September 7, 2026)

Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 26, 2026)

Christmas Day (Friday, December 25, 2026)

SB 1383 – Short Lived Climate Pollutants

Removing Barriers to Recycling Program

In ongoing Removing Barriers to Recycling program, recycLA customers are no longer charged access and distance fees for blue bin service, and customers who have paid those extra fees previously may receive a credit.
