  • The site is currently vacant and a former industrial site
  • The Citywide Brownfields Program secured a $500,000 EPA Cleanup Grant and several assessment grants to delineate the impacts

Activities/What’s happening here?

  • The Citywide Brownfields Program is in the process of conducting supplemental soil vapor sampling and working on the cleanup plan 
  • Once clean is complete, the site will be developed into affordable housing. 
  • This is one of the future nature-based solution pilot sites which uses plants and fungi to remove contaminants from the soil.
