What goes in which bin?
The City of Los Angeles has a "four-bin" system:
- Black (trash)
- Blue (recyclables)
- Green (organics)
- Brown (manure)
Bins may be placed curbside before 6am on collection day and must be removed by 8pm on collection day. Report broken/missing bins on the MyLA311 app by clicking the Request Service button at the top of the page.
